Part IV
Part IV of a workers’ compensation policy is typically called something along the lines of Your Duties If Injury Occurs. In the event of an employee’s injury, the insured employer must:
- Notify the insurer at once
- Provide immediate medical attention to the injured worker, according to state law
- Supply the insurer with the names and addresses of all injured workers and witnesses to the injury
- Fully cooperate with the insurer and provide all legal documents related to the claim
- Not make any voluntary payments for medical services
